NEW FINE DINING CONCEPT IN KAZERNE

After more than a year of renovation, the repurposing of the monumental buildings at Paradijslaan 2-8 is almost completed. Early 2019 we will open the doors of the former fire department garage for our new fine dining restaurant. A contemporary and exclusive culinary experience to look forward to.

Expect a ‘table d’hôte’ setting with refined, often vegetable-oriented dishes from a modern North European menu. Our chef works from an open kitchen, using seasonal products and ensuring that, in addition to seafood you can also enjoy a selection of dishes with meat and poultry. No set menu, just tell us if you’d fancy 3, 5 or 8 courses.

 

The characteristic building parallel to the Paradijslaan – built in the early 20th century as a garage for fire trucks – will soon be able to accommodate around thirty guests. While work by established and promising designers will be displayed throughout the restaurant, the decorative masonry and the classic green gates in the facade do justice to the monumental character of the building. The modest arched windows on the street side provide an intimate setting. Inside, ceiling-high windows offer a view of the attractive courtyard with terrace and outdoor kitchen.

2019 is promising to be a great year for food lovers. At the start of the year we’ll be able to host the first guests in the upcoming fine dining restaurant. Can’t wait for the opening? Until then, you can satisfy your hunger with robust and vegetable-oriented dishes with Italian touch at bar/bistro Kazerne, open daily from 12:00.
