Floating Lights – Studio VanTot

Studio VanTot (FromTo in Dutch) creates enchanted illuminating objects. In every new design, designers Esther Jongsma and Sam van Gurp research innovative technical opportunities – for example in low voltage or solar energy – to translate into sustainable, 3-dimensional, atmospheric lighting. This may result in light weight, modular elements with subtly positioned light sources, together forming a minimalistic construction, with electricity that you can literally touch. But just as well in revolutionary street lighting that follows the sun. Remarkable are the refined details and meticulous precision; materials and forms are reduced to their essentials.
