An Analogue Exploration

Want to get lost in a world full of inspiration? Especially nowadays, in this December month in which social and public life is so digital and often distant? Reserve an exclusive retreat and immerse yourself into both the exhibition New Melancholy – Lidewij Edelkoort and the imaginary book collection of her significant other, graphic designer Anthon Beeke (1940 – 2018): the living rooms of the Albert van Abbehuis are packed with beautiful publications around themes like graphic design, culture, photography, typography, erotics and jazz.
A lunch, dinner and stay for you and your loved ones in one of Kazerne’s uniquely designed suites and lofts complete the indulgence. Besides enjoying Giovanni Gabana’s dishes with an Italian touch in the industrial Kazerne restaurant, each Friday and Saturday you are also able to revel in the gastronomic dishes from the new chef Thomas Voets in the intimate fine-dining restaurant Benz. Imagine the nostalgic French kitchen in a surprising edition, with exciting matching wines by maître/sommelier Alexander van der Voort.

An analogue journey for two people, combined with a dinner in Kazerne costs 400 (Charming Room or Junior Suite) or 475 euros (other suites and lofts), combined with a dinner in Benz 500 or 575 euros respectively. These options are based upon availability for two persons, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, aperitif plus matching wines, coffee/tea, (city)tax, entrance to the Albert van Abbehuis and New Melancholy, also in the Van Abbemuseum.
