“In times of division and inequity, the circle stands as an emblem of co-operation and connectivity. We need to go back to the origin to find out what is fundamental in life. Interpreting the circle pushes each Invertual to identify what is essential to them.” – curator Wendy Plomp.
On Tuesday September 22nd, we will round up the expo The Circle – Dutch Invertuals with an informal designer talk with Dutch Invertuals Joachim Morineau, Satomi Minoshima and Schimmel & Schweikle. They will talk about the exhibition (that has for a long time been ‘unseen’), their work and what it means to be an Invertual.

Schimmel & Schweikle

Joachim Morineau
Carla Joachim and Jordan Morineau’s work is a mix of crafts, industrial techniques and technology. They use experimentation to push the limits of each field and aspire to research new techniques.
Satomi Minoshima
Satomi Minoshima is a graphic/product designer graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2019. Her focus is on exploring new harmony between material, shape, and color. She develops the idea and material into product through a graphical approach.
