Prior to raising our glasses at the finissage, and to conclude an exciting period where we have been inspired by new views on circularity and materiality, both on a small and a larger scale, we will look back once more to what has been on show. Can design (as a material practice) be sustainable in the future?

Jeroen Junte is a freelance journalist/writer/curator and moderator with a focus on design and architecture. He works among others for Volkskrant, Elle Decoration and Architectuur NL. His book Do it Ourselves was published in 2019, which was also fairly represented in the exhibition Circular>Materialists.
