About 40 graduates, who’s work was still nearby, responded to the open call for a spontaneous mini exhibition. Kazerne’s Creative director – and DAE alumna herself – Annemoon Geurts selected 16 talents to present their work until 14 November. During that weekend, under the title Design Open, more Eindhoven-based designers and institutions will open their doors, mainly by appointment. In Impromptu, amongst other designers, Bas Stoker presents his interactive Dennis de Desk Lamp, which reacts like a human being, Mark Wang his Microbe-Mate on microorganisms as pets and Emy Bensdorp her solution to transform PFAS-contaminated soil into clean bricks.
Impromptu Mini Graduation Show features: Valentin Bauberger, Emy Bensdorp, Ethan Braunstein, Rollo Bryant, Baptiste Comte, Jean-Baptiste Gambier, Miles Le Gras, Mathias Malm, Benjamin Motoc, Marwane Soumer, Bas Stoker, Dae Uk Kim, Bram de Vos, Boey Wang, Mark Wang and Teun Zwets.
This is only a small selection. See all graduates at www.designacademy.nl.
