Phillipp Pals

–Through my design I would like to rouse my audiences’curiosity of how things function 

In the short history of the usage of aluminum, it has descended from being more valuable than gold to becoming affordable for household applications. Inspired by the Classical marble statues with tactile fabric expressions, Phillipp Pals designed Fabricate, a contemporary shelving system consisting of industrial elements combining laser cut and casted aluminum, that reminds of the flow and texture of heavy, woven cotton. 

Phillipp Pals creates interior pieces and spaces with a curious and lighthearted approach towards individual materials. Phillipp finds inspiration in historic excess and overlooked facts in combination with maximalism and organized chaos. His work is characterized by craftsmanship, storytelling and collaboration with industrial experts.
