Kazerne Foundation and Kazerne B.V. process personal data. We do this to help our guests and visitors as well as to achieve our goals. In this privacy statement we explain why and how we process your personal data. We believe it is important that you understand how we handle your personal data so that you can trust that your data is in good hands with us. We ensure that the personal information you give us is treated confidentially.
KAZERNE PROCESSES THE FOLLOWING PERSONAL DATA
Kazerne Foundation / Kazerne B.V. process your personal data because you’ve used our services and / or because you have provided this information to us. The type and size of the personal data we process differs per product or service. You can think of:
First and last name, e-mail address, place of residence, telephone number, gender, other personal data you actively provide, for example by signing up for our newsletter, sending a question via this website, and / or by correspondence and telephone contact, information about your activities on our website, information about your surfing behavior between different websites (e.g. because our organization is part of an advertising network), internet browser and device type, areas of interest, photos / camera images, complaints, contact history, website behavior and open and click behavior regarding e-mails.
We do not intend to collect information about (website) visitors who are younger than 16 through our website and / or service. However, we can not check if an online visitor is older than 16. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without permission, please contact us via info@kazerne.com and we will delete this information.
WHY WE ARE PROCESSING YOUR DATA
We only process data necessary to:
– conclude an agreement for a product or service (e.g. placing a reservation for the restaurant or hotel or obtaining an admission ticket for a special activity);
– inform you about our (other) products or services (e.g. our general newsletter);
– give you the opportunity to use our website in a pleasant way. We use functional, analytical and tracking cookies (and similar techniques).
– conduct market research, develop products and services and other purposes related to general business operations;
– to comply with the laws and regulations.
Purchasing tickets without giving any personal details
We would like to point out the possibility to purchase admission tickets without giving any personal details. You can do this by paying for your entrance on the evening of the activity with cash money through one of Kazernes staff members.
Newsletters
You can register for periodic e-mails / newsletters with general information. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters, you can always unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link in the e-mail.
Social media
Via Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) you can follow us to keep up to date and get in touch with us. If you do and / or respond to our messages we will see your personal data. You can block us or use the unsubscribe option.
Market research / marketing / development products services / improve business operations
We process your personal data to do marketing research (e.g. cookies, Google Analytics). For example, we analyze the visitor history of visitors to our website in order to optimize our services and products. In some cases, the information can be shared internally in our organization. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.
Cookies we use or similar techniques
Kazerne uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is saved in the first visit to this website browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone. Kazerne uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. Reaction form
If you contact us through our website, we ask for your name and email address. This way we can contact you and answer your question. If you contact us via web forms or e-mail, we will store your data in order to give you a good answer.
Photography
Visitors to Kazerne can be photographed. These photos are used for reporting events and can be published on the websites or social media channels of Kazerne. If you do not want to be recognizable on photos, you can indicate this to one of our employees or afterwards via communications@kazerne.com We will then ensure that the relevant photo is removed. This only applies to visual material that has been made by or on behalf of (employees of) Kazerne. It can happen that other visitors take photos or videos. We have no influence over that
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
We keep your data as long as necessary. If you have indicated that you wish to receive newsletters by e-mail from us, we will keep your data until you have unsubscribed. We keep some information as long as the law prescribes. For example, we keep proof of purchase and invoice for seven years on behalf of the tax authorities.
HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR DATA?
Kazerne takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us at info@kazerne.com
SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
Kazerne will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide this information if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply to a legal obligation. With companies that process your data in our assignment, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Kazerne remains responsible for these methods of processing.
WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request for access, correction or removal to info@kazerne.com. Kazerne will respond to your request within four weeks. Please note to always clearly state who you are, so that we know for sure that we process the correct data.
