More than just a great player on the world’s design stage, the city of Eindhoven is now home to a wholly unique design and hospitality experience.

Set in former military barracks and an adjoining industrial warehouse, Kazerne—with eight luxury rooms and suites, as well as a 2,500-square-meter exhibition space (with shows changing every four months)—celebrates the impact of design by immersing guests in an environment where they eat, drink, meet, and sleep surrounded by the recent works of world-class design talent.

With a gallery, hotel, restaurants, bar, meeting rooms, members club and shop, Kazerne offers an inspiring and atmospheric setting that forms new alliances between creatives and the public, serving as a meeting place for design professionals, as well as lovers of art, design, technology, and food.

Are you an ambitious, experienced, and independently working cook, who is able to thrill guests on a culinary level? Do you have a special interest in the Nordic philosophy, do you love working with local, seasonal products and are you a perfectionist? If yes, we are looking for you! Come and join our culinairy ‘rock’ team!

Our new colleague:
• has extensive knowlegde of food & beverage, suitable to an ambitious contemporary fine-dining restaurant;
• has all standard qualifications/function requirements and experience in the higher segment;
• speaks English;
• shares the ambition to expand the unique, internationally high-profile concept of Benz at Kazerne;
• loves to contribute to a mesmerizing experience for our guests.

Within the growing concept of Home of Design Kazerne you will operate under the supervision of chef Rasmus Olander in the open kitchen of fine dining restaurant Benz at Kazerne. Together you will be pushing the boundaries.

Culinary skills, an open mind, flexibility and at least three years of relevant experience are a must. People with a personal interest for culture and design have an advantage.

Naturally, we offer a fitting salay, excellent conditions and good career prospects for this full-time job.
