Per person, we buy on average 10 kg of textile per year. To contribute to the improvement of climate change, we should only use a maximum of 1 kg of textile per person per year. 1kg of textile shows a future in which this could become reality. In a book and on the Instagram page @1kgoftextile, Alice Watel offers examples to reduce consumption behaviour and how to develop this in the future, for example by focusing on upcycling and recycling.
